It is an automated system and to continue to keep it optimal, quick and free of charge, the overhead of a call center is not a priority for MovingTruckService.com at this time. We would like feedback on the above decision if you would like to share.

These are special boxes that are designed to hold your clothes. Some come equipped with a hanging rod and can fit clothing from up to 3 linear feet of closet space.

Are movers able to transport my pets?
No, moving trucks are not properly equipped to transport pets and the box can be dangerous because of heavy objects. If possible, keep your pets at a friend, family member’s or kennel during the day of your move.

What is a re-weigh?
Depending on the type of estimate you obtained, your goods may be re-weighed once they have been loaded on to the moving truck or van. In this case, your moving charges will be based on the re-weighed amount.

How should I pack breakable items such as glass, crystal or china?
Make sure you choose a container that has a sturdy lid and room for lots of cushioning. Place a 2-3 inch layer of crushed paper on the bottom of the box and then wrap each item individually with a soft material for protective padding. Pack the heaviest items first followed by lighter ones and use crushed paper to fill in any empty spaces in the box. After sealing the box with tape, mark it “FRAGILE” and list the contents.
